CONCRETE

Concrete is a mixture of Portland cement, water, aggregates and admixtures; it has a plastic consistency when fresh and mechanical strength characteristics when hardened, which makes it an ideal material for construction.

Thus, for any type of project, we provide ready-mix concrete preparation, transportation, and pumping services. Ready-mix concrete, more than a product, is an integral package that represents a series of benefits for the user. These benefits are translated into product quality, mix traceability, qualified advice, time and transportation savings; all of which are reasons why it surpasses on-site concrete, providing greater cost benefits.

Depending on the type of project, whether it’s for foundations, sidewalks, columns, slabs, etc., ready-mixed concrete is automatically and simultaneously dosed in the mixers with the necessary concrete additives to provide better consistency and workability. This ensures compliance with user requirements. The concrete is then transported in suitable concrete trucks. Additionally, for concrete discharge in elevated or hard-to-reach areas, concrete pumping is provided using concrete pumps with telescopic arms that have a vertical reach of 40 meters.

The designs are made according to the needs of our clients and comply with the Peruvian technical standards (NTP) and ASTM.

TRANSPORTATION AND PUMPING

We have a fleet of more than 140 mixers with a capacity of 7 to 10 m3, 40 concrete pumps including stationary, telescopic and shotcrete placement equipment.

MOBILE PLANTS

We have concrete batching plants with capacities ranging from 24 m3/hour to 120 m3/hour implemented with the necessary technology according to the needs of each project.

SHOTCRETE APPLICATION

Process by which high-velocity compressed concrete is sprayed to form structural and non-structural elements in buildings. The mixture used is relatively dry and is consolidated by the force of impact. Its main applications include:

QUALITY LABORATORY

Concretos Supermix S.A. has the support of a research and development center specialized in cement, concrete, aggregates, and related products.

Additionally, they provide technical assistance to customers to ensure the quality of the products and services offered in the various cities they serve.

The SUPERMIX research and development center is composed of a group of highly trained technicians and professionals. It has state-of-the-art specialized equipment laboratories, such as Material Characterization Laboratory, Rheology Laboratory, Petrography Laboratory, and Structural Auscultation Laboratory (concrete forensic science). These laboratories evaluate the technical characteristics, physical-mechanical properties, and durability of materials and supplies. They also verify the quality of the concrete and ensure compliance with current national and international standards (ASTM, NTP, ACI, RNE, etc.). In this way, they aim to integrate all processes from the origin of materials and supplies to the final product on-site.

We provide services to the general public, including construction workers, engineers, architects, supervision companies, construction and mining-related companies, among others, regardless of the project’s magnitude. Our services include on-site quality control, laboratory services, development of state-of-the-art concretes, diagnosis and solution of concrete problems in both fresh and hardened states, concrete structure auscultation, as well as the development of new custom products according to customer requirements and technological advancements.

For any inquiries, technical assistance, on-site quality control services, or laboratory services, please do not hesitate to contact us through any of the following options: Website https://www.supermix.com.pe/, toll-free customer service hotline 0-800-22900, or via our Facebook page. We will be delighted to assist you with your requests.

LABORATORIES

We conduct scientific research and work and have facilities equipped with chambers for accelerated curing. Our laboratory is equipped with devices to perform Alkali-Silica Reactivity (ASR) tests according to ASTM standards C 1260/1567/1293, as well as photometers for soluble chlorides and sulfates, among other equipment.

We perform laboratory and field-level tests, offering concrete structure auscultation services. Our laboratory is equipped with tools that allow us to diagnose and/or identify certain pathologies such as carbonation (resistivity), inspect concrete structures (ground penetrating radar), measure permeability (Torrent equipment and water pressure permeameter), assess concrete uniformity and detect cracks (ultrasonic testing), among other capabilities.

Petrography combines visual inspection with microscopic examination using a stereoscope and a petrographic microscope, with which tests can be performed to inspect and analyze materials such as concrete, mortars, etc. The interpretation of the findings provides valuable assistance in developing solutions to the problems that arise in constructions.

We have state-of-the-art equipment, such as the Rheometer, which allows us to optimize the mixing proportions so that the resulting concrete flows easily but remains resistant to segregation (especially for self-consolidating concrete). It enables us to conduct research to describe the influence of new materials on concrete rheology, among other things.
